Privacy Policy

Summary

StudyPlanner is designed to work offline. Your tasks, mood entries, and focus (Pomodoro) data are stored on your device. We do not upload your entries to our servers.

Data We Store On Your Device

StudyPlanner stores the following data locally on your device:

• Tasks you create (titles, due dates, reminders, completion status)
• Mood entries you create (selected mood, optional notes, optional categories)
• Attachments you add to mood entries (photos and voice notes) — stored locally as files on your device
• Pomodoro / focused time history used to show your stats

This information stays on your device unless you manually share it or back it up yourself.

Analytics (Usage Data)

To understand how the app is used and to improve features, StudyPlanner uses Google/Firebase Analytics.

Firebase Analytics may collect usage and interaction data, such as:

• Which screens are opened (for example: Home, Mood History, Stats)
• Which buttons are tapped (for example: Save mood, change stats range)
• Basic app events (for example: app version, device type, approximate performance/diagnostics)

What we do NOT collect with Analytics

We do not send your personal entries to analytics. In particular, we do not log or upload:

• Task titles or task details
• Mood notes or any text you type
• Mood categories you select as text
• Photo or voice note content
• File paths to your attachments

No Account, No Cloud Sync

StudyPlanner does not require sign-in and does not provide cloud sync. Your data is not stored in a user account.

Backups and Restore

To protect sensitive information, the app excludes its database and stored attachments (such as photos and voice notes) from Android/Google automatic backups and device-to-device transfer.

This means your entries and attachments won’t automatically restore if you reinstall the app or switch phones.

Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We do not share your local entries with third parties.

Firebase Analytics may process usage information as described above to provide analytics services.

Your Choices

• You can stop using the app at any time.
• You can delete your entries within the app.
• You can remove the app to remove locally stored data on your device (depending on your device settings, some files may remain until fully cleared).

Children’s Privacy

StudyPlanner is not designed to collect personal information from children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

If we update this policy, we will change the “Last updated” date above.
